5/29/07: Had Enough?
Many of us get to a point in life where we think we've had enough. Where all our struggling, coping, dealing, trying, working, forcing and controlling finally gets to us; where complacency and mediocrity no longer keeps us comfortable but instead becomes suffocating; and where all our efforts, being fear based, end up in the same seeming dead-end as where we started.
And despite all our griping and groaning of having had enough, we continue to remain stuck in our mediocrity, stuck in our fear.
The truth is until we've really had enough, we are merely paying lip service. We only think we've had enough.
But then we take more.
You'll know when you've truly had enough because you simply WILL NOT take it anymore. And if you simply will not take it anymore, it will stop.
So stop taking it, whatever it is you think you have had enough of. It will not stop just because you are frustrated with it, or just because you think you've had enough of it, no matter how intense your frustration may be. Only when you stop taking it, only when you have truly had enough, will it stop being a part of your life.
