5/28/05: Give it up

When you have tried everything in your power to make things happen and nothing seems to be going right, it is time to stop trying.

Stop scheming up ways to make it happen and simply relax into sweet surrender. Surrender your plan over to the Source and LET it take over.

Persistence and determination are useful qualities to help us act toward our dreams, but when they are urged by underlying desperation and frustration, they defeat the purpose and act to draw the very thing you want away from you.

Let go of the temptation to cling to whatever it is you want to achieve; let go of your control over it and give it up to God.

When you give it up, you will surely get what you really want.
