5/14/05: Seek first to know God

Above all else, seek first to know God.

When you seek first spiritual harmony, divine truth and grace, the rest of your life will fall effortlessly and perfectly into place. You need not seek human desires such as money, better relationships, career, health or any of these things.

Whatever you believe God to be, whoever God is to you, seek Him or It first.

Most of us seek God because we want better lives. We think if we find God, our lives will improve; we will gain more income, a good job, a better relationship, good health, etc. Yet what we fail to realize is that when we seek to improve these things under the guise of wanting to know God, we are disconnecting ourselves, in our minds, to God.

We must seek first to know the Source, to know God, for no other reason than to know Him. Only then will all those other things be truly added to us.
