If you strive to be better than others, you will always find others to strive against. There will always be someone smarter than, funnier than, nicer than, richer than, better looking than and any other than.

Striving to be better than someone else creates a life of endless competition and shallow, short-lived satisfaction.

Striving to be your true self, on the other hand, creates a life of fulfillment, inner gratification and power.
