5/3/05: Turning Your Life Over

When you turn your life over to God, only then will you truly start living. Until then, you are merely existing. You may experience moments of joy here and there, you may even experience it a lot, but joy is nothing compared to the experience of God.

Turning your life over to God (whatever "God" means to you) requires complete surrender of your will. To let go of your will, you must let go of your personal sense of self. This includes your desires, ambitions, goals and dreams. It also includes your fears, doubts, worries and insecurities.

When you release your personal sense of self and trust in the Higher Self that resides within you, your life takes on a radical new meaning.

Everything changes yet the world is still the same. Nothing matters to you, yet everything is significant.

Turn your life over and come alive again.
