3/30/05: Minding your own business,
mending your own life
How others choose to live their lives is none of your business.
When you constantly tell others what they should or shouldn't
do, when you judge them for the choices they make, when you gossip
about them, you are not only doing them a disservice as a human
being free to create their own lives, you are also denying yourself
that same freedom.
Controlling, judging and gossiping about others is a sure sign
of avoidance - avoidance of our own feelings of inadequacy and
unworthiness.
Mind your own business and start paying
attention to your own life. When you can mend your own life,
you can look at others
with understanding, acceptance and love.
