3/23/06: If only I had that

Think of all the times you have thought, “If only I had that, then I’ll be happy.”

Now think of all the times you have gotten “that” only to find yourself unhappy again soon after.

Whether it’s a material object, a relationship, a job, or any other “that,” the achievement of it is often followed by the wanting of another “that.”

If none of your previous “thats” have made you truly happy, what makes you think your current “that” will?

“If only I had that, then I’ll be happy” is another way to avoid being happy now and truly enjoying all the things you want.

Find happiness within you, then all the other things will be enjoyed and appreciated fully.
