3/10/07: Appreciating One At A Time
Appreciate yourself one body part at a time, one thought at a time, one moment at a time.
When learning to appreciate ourselves, our appreciation is often vague and fleeting because we fail to identify it with anything specific.
Instead of trying to appreciate yourself as a whole, in general, pick a specific part of yourself to appreciate. Whether it's a part of your body, your personality or your being, find something specific and tangible to appreciate.
Look for one thing, every day, that you can appreciate.
Start with one part and before long, you'll love all parts of your self.
