3/9/07: Today
Imagine waking up every day, starting with a blank new canvas yet painting the same image you did yesterday, and the day before and the day before and so on.
Today can be a fresh new start filled with potential, excitement and change. Or it can be a dull, monotonous repetition of outworn habits and limiting thought patterns.
Today can be another day just like yesterday and the day before. Or it can be another day unlike any other.
Today holds promise. Today you can break out of your shell. Today you can learn and change. Today you can ignite your own fire. Today you can shift in a new direction. Today you can be alive, conscious, aware and free. Today you can paint something different.
Or…
Today you can repeat what you did yesterday. Today you can stay small. Today you can hold onto the same limiting thought patterns you've been holding onto for years. Today you can be complacent. Today you can remain numb, drained and unconscious. Today you can paint the same image you've always been painting.
There is great power in Today. If today is a blank canvas, what are you going to paint on it?
