3/6/08: Live From The Inside Out

When you are filled internally with joy and appreciation, it doesn’t matter what you are doing or who you are doing it with, your joy and appreciation spills out into your experience, making it fun, carefree and lively.

Doing the same exact thing with the same exact person while in a state of resistance makes your experience difficult, frustrating or at best, bland.

When you are judging, criticizing, negatively focused, in doubt, worry or fear, you are in a state of resistance. And it doesn’t matter what you do or who you do it with, your activity will be tainted in the direction of what is going on inside you.

Instead of trying to get your external circumstances to fill you with joy and appreciation, fill yourself up internally with joy and appreciation and your external circumstances will follow.

It doesn’t matter what is going on outside of you, it is what is going on inside you that makes all the difference in the world.
