3/5/05: Stop, drop and give me twenty
When you’re feeling
down, when you feel as though nothing is going the way you
want, when everything seems to be falling
in on you all at once, try the coaches mantra.
Stop, drop and give me twenty.
Stop what you are doing. Drop to your knees. And give twenty reasons
for which you are grateful.
Often, the physical act of stopping and dropping pulls us out
of our negative mode. Giving twenty things we are grateful for
helps move us into a positive place where we can stand again
on our own two feet, firmly planted with a brighter outlook.
