1/23/08: The Circulation of Money

When you begin to look at the expenditure of money as the circulation of money, your feelings of constriction and limitation regarding money will begin to loosen. You will feel more relaxed and free about the subject of money.

If every time you spend money, you think you have lost it, that it is gone, you are standing in the consciousness of lack, insecurity and fear. If instead, when you let go of money, you think of it as circulating instead of spending, you stand in the consciousness of flow, appreciation and abundance.

Think of money as a means to exchange energy. When you give your money to someone for a product or service that is of value to you, you are in essence helping to support, spread and increase value in the world. Your exchange of money for the other person’s service helps them to continue to offer their services to others who might find them beneficial as well. And your money often helps to support others in their jobs as it is circulated from you through the company offering the service to the employees in the form of their wages and salaries. The employees in turn circulate that money back into society as they find products and services of value to them.

The giving and receiving of money is a never ending abundant cycle. It is a flow of energy, constantly exchanging and moving and coming and going.

There is nothing wrong with having, wanting or circulating money.

When you view money as a way to increase value in your life and the life of others, simply by releasing it for things that are of value to you, you feel good about it. And the better you feel about money, the easier it flows to and through you.
