1/19/08: I See It, So Why Isn’t It Here?
Many of us by now have developed a specific, clear image of what we want. We see it so clearly, we may even set aside time to visualize it every day, and yet the thing we want continues to elude us in physical reality. We then get frustrated because we feel as though we are doing the work necessary for manifestation yet it doesn’t seem to manifest. And while we know frustration won’t bring it any closer to us, we can’t seem to break through, and that frustrates us even more.
If you have a clear image of what you want and you feel good when you envision it, yet you feel bad when you look at your current circumstances because you are noticing it is not what you want, you are holding yourself apart from the very thing you want.
In a way, you are pinching off the flow of the non-physical into the physical.
Many of us hold a vision of what we want or where we want to be and when we look at what we have or where we are, we pick out all the ways our physical reality falls short of our vision.
Instead, hold your vision of what you want and look at all the ways in which your current physical reality lines up with your desired reality.
While there will be ways in which it doesn’t line up, there are always ways in which it does. It’s just a matter of shifting your focus.
In other words, see what you want and see what you have in relation to what you want instead of seeing what you want and seeing what you don’t have in relation to what you want.
When you do this, you not only put yourself into a state of appreciation for what you have and where you are, you also put yourself into a state of allowing for the desires you have created to manifest. You close the gap between where you are and where you want to be and that is when things will begin to really flow into your life.
