1/11/07: Life of Moments
Every moment holds the potential for joy,
laughter, love and fulfillment. Every moment also holds the
potential for fear, sadness, anger and anxiety.
In each passing moment you have infinite
choices. You can choose to spend it forgiving, thanking,
inspiring, learning, playing, giving, taking, crying, hating,
sulking, fuming, resenting and endless other ways.
You can fritter the time away, unconscious
and unaware, letting it pass by, moment after moment. Or
you can seize it in conscious awareness and make best use
of it for yourself and others.
Regardless of what you do with them, moments
come and go. The culmination of those moments make up our
lives.
It is in our moments that life is lived.
It is in our moments that relationships are
strengthened or shattered. It is in our moments that love
is given a chance or pushed aside. It is in our moments that
empires are built or destroyed. It is in our moments that
we become great or small.
The moments you took to read this have passed,
you cannot have them back.
What do you choose to do with your next moments?
