1/10/07: Remember Your Intent

When you find yourself wanting to quit, when your pursuit becomes difficult, frustrating or tiresome, remind yourself of why you are here, doing what you are doing.

Why are you here, doing what you are doing? Is it to create a better life, to achieve your goals and dreams?

If so, visualize that intention. Let it reenergize and motivate you to keep going.

Without a strong purpose, a meaningful intention driving your pursuit, there isn't enough to motivate you forward when times get tough, in which case, are you sure you really want to keep moving in that direction?

Always remember why you are here, doing what you are doing. If your intention has meaning to you, often just the memory alone will be enough to give you that extra push to keep moving.

Remember your intent. The pursuit is all the more joyful when you remember why you are doing it.
