1/9/08: Practice Feeling Appreciation

Make a deliberate practice of finding something to appreciate every day. It can be the same thing every day or a new thing but put yourself intentionally into a state of feeling appreciation for a few minutes every day.

Before long, it will become a habit and the feeling of appreciation will follow you around no matter where you are or what is going on in your life. When that happens, an endless stream of things will naturally and effortlessly flow into your life to appreciate. You will no longer have to look for them, they’ll jump out in front of you eagerly and fervently.
